Shocking! CID to go off air from 28th October after 21 years of successful run for this reason

The popular show of television CID is going off-air and this is really a shocking news for the fans. The last episode of the show will be telecasted on 29th October and this is something that will turn out a shock for the loyal fanbase of the Sony channel. The show had a long run of 21 years and the leading characters ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Abhijeet are the life remembering characters.

These all three characters were consistent from the start of the show and all three characters have some USP. All three characters were quite strong that it became the reason for the show to have a long run. Even the TRP of the show has always been consistent.

Let us tell you that this show is coming on Indian television since 1997 and there are only shows that can go long run with so much affection. Recently it also completed 1546 episodes and this has turned a shock for the actors.

Dayanand Shetty who played the role of inspector Daya told, 'Everything was going good and the show was having good TRPs but a few days back sheeting producer BP Singh called and told us to that the show has been called off. We are all feeling bad and we will always miss our characters.'
