After Comedy Nights With Kapil, Kapil Sharma is set to return to entertain television audiences. His new show will reunite the entire team of CNWK, except Upasana Singh - who essayed the character of bua in the previous show.

But why was Upasana, who can still be seen on Colors' Comedy Nights Live, left out? It has been revealed that Singh's commitment to the channel influenced her decision. She said:

"Honestly, I have a contract with the channel (Colors) and so I nodded to be a part of it. When the channel asked me to continue with the same character in their new show, I accepted the offer".

The actor also spoke about how much she enjoyed playing the character, bua, that she has come to be best known for on TV.

"The character of Bua has gained immense popularity, so why not reprising the same? So far, I have enjoyed my role and I have no issues in continuing with it further."

She also clarified that the gags based on Kapil Sharma, by Krushna Abhishek - the anchor of Comedy Nights Live - were all made in good spirit.

"No, we have not made fun of Kapil. In fact, in most of the gags, we were trying to show that Kapil is a big personality and it's very difficult to reach to his level. There were some instances where Krushna was seen praising Kapil; but in a sarcasm manner. I am a big fan of Kapil Sharma and such news of making fun of him is totally false".
