Khatron Ke Khiladi 9: Vikas Gupta was disqualified by Rohit Shetty and you'll be shocked to know the reason!
Colors TV one of the most popular stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 has been doing really well and which is quite evident from the BARC TRP report of the past few weeks. The show telecasts various celebrities performing dangerous stunts some of which include Bharti Singh, Shamita Shetty, Jasmin Bhasin etc and the recent contestant who got eliminated from the show was none other than Bharti's husband Haarsh Limbachiya but soon a really shocking news about a contestant's disqualification followed.
Yes, that's true. After six contesants were left in the show, it came to light that the host of the show Rohit Shetty has disqualified none other than Vikas Gupta from the show and the reason why he did the same will definitely shock you. It will all happen a couple of weeks before the finale where Shetty will be seen reprimanding Vikas for taking painkillers and not informing the makers about the same.

The information has been shared by Vikas himself during an interview that he gave vto a portal where he opened up about the same and said, "I have been suffering from a shoulder injury for more than two years now. During the helicopter jump stunt, I aggravated the nerve pain again." Further he also said that these painkillers prove harmful for the contestant during the task about which he was unaware.

Vikas added, "I was taking painkillers to subdue the pain in the nerves and I didn't inform the team of Fear Factor about the injury. The painkillers also increase your heart rate, which while doing stunts can even go higher resulting in major health risks, which even I wasn't aware of." He further said, "Yes, I was disqualified from the show and rightfully so. It was a stupid thing to hide the injury. With the telecast I am hearing another round of reprimanding from my mom all over again."
