After Mouni Roy and Mrunal Thakur, now Sasural Simar Ka actress Deepika Kakar is all set for Bollywood debut
It looks like that this year has become a year for television actresses to make their Bollywood debut. This is why now television actresses like Mouni Roy, Ankita Lokhande, Mrunal Thakur and now Deepika Kakar is all set for her Bollywood debut.
According to the latest reports, Sasural Simar Ka fame actress Deepika Kakar is now all set for her Bollywood debut. She will be seen playing one the leading roles in filmmaker JP Dutta's next film Paltan. Deepika Kakar herself has made this announcement through her social media post on Instagram. The film is based on Indo-China war in 1962.

The interesting thing is that this film is a multi starrer film that has leading actors like Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhant Kapoor, Gurmeet Chaudhary and others. It is surely something that is going to have a great at the box office. However, the details have not come out yet about Deepika's role in the film.
Well, this is to notice that JP Dutta's film was in the discussions for Abhishek Bachchan casting in the film. Earlier the film was announced that Abhishek Bachchan will play the leading role in the film but later Abhishek denied working in the film and Harshvardhan Rane who played leading role in Sanam Teri Kasam replaced him. Even after Abhishek, Suneil Shetty denied working in the film.
