Lenovo launches modular Moto Z and Moto Z Play in India; read price & specifications here

Lenovo-owned Motorola today unveiled the flagship Moto Z series in India, along with Moto Mods. The modular smartphones, Moto Z and Moto Z Play will be available later this month on 17 October on Flipkart and Amazon. Both Moto Z and Moto Z Play are modular smartphones and it wouldn't be wrong to say that they represent the future of smartphones.

The phones are scheduled to go on sale on Flipkart and Amazon India at 11.59 pm on 17 October.

The Moto Mods will come at a discounted price if bought with the smartphones. The JBL Soundboost is priced at Rs 5,999, the Moto Insta-Share Projector at Rs 15,999, the Hasselblad True Zoom is priced at Rs 14,999, the Incipio offGRID Power Pack is available for Rs 4,999, the Wood and Ballistic Nylong Motorola Style Shell is available for Rs 899 and the Leather Style Shell comes at Rs 1,299.

The functionality of these smartphones can be augmented with Mods which can be strapped onto the magnetic points on the devices.
