OnePlus has finally lauched the OxygenOS 3.1.2 stable upgrade on OnePlus X that includes Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The update also includes October Android security patch among other new features.

The roll out will reach users via an OTA (over-the-air) update gradually. Some users may have got an update by now, followed by a broader rollout in the days to come.

"Users will receive new icon packs, an improved UX, and wallpaper picker in the set of launcher upgrades on their devices. A new settings panel along with new native Android app permissions will be included in the update," reports NDTV.

OnePlus Music Player and OnePlus Gallery have also been added by OnePlus for the OnePlus X in the latest update.

There is a new Alert Slider setting that will help with more advanced customisation options.

Interestingly, OnePlus also said that OnePlus X won't be receiving VoLTE support just at the time of Reliance Jio 4G service launch in the country.
