This talented actor to replace Ranveer Singh in the Bollywood remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy ?
Telugu film Arjun Reddy is considered as one of the path breaking Indian films released in 2017. In fact, the content of the film is so brilliant that it has inspired top Malayalam production banner E4 Entertainment to make their Tamil debut with the remake of the Arjun Reddy.
Catch had previously reported that Sandeep Vanga, who made the directorial debut with Arjun Reddy is planning to remake the film in Bollywood with Ranveer Singh.
However, the recent reports suggests that none other Shahid Kapoor has replaced his Padmavati co-actor Ranveer Singh to essay the main lead role in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy.
The actual reason is yet to be revealed, but there are reports that Ranveer Singh has decided to skip the dark role immediately after doing the menacing role of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati.
Noted director-producer Aditya Chopra will bankroll the film under Yash Raj Films. An official confirmation on this is expected to be announced soon.
