SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion is touted as one of the the most awaited films of 2017. The film, a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao and Prasad Devineni, Baahubali 2 also stars veteran actors Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan.

Recently there were reports that the release date of Baahubali 2 will be postponed to June as the VFX works of the film are yet to be completed. Also, the shooting of the film has wrapped up last week and this lead to an uncertainty over the release date.

However, on Tuesday night, the makers squashed the rumours stating that their magnum-opus will definitely hit the screens on 28 April 2017, as scheduled earlier. The entire Baahubali team was in Chennai on Tuesday night to attend India Today's South Conclave event.

Meanwhile, with the completion of Baahubali 2 shoot, Prabhas' 613-days long hard work finally comes to an end. The film stars the actor in dual roles, as Mahendra Baahubali and Amarendra Baahubali.
