I am not a part of Saamy 2: Rakul Preet Singh on working with Vikram

Director Hari's 2003 Tamil film, Saamy is touted as one of the biggest super-hits of superstar Chiyaan Vikram's career. During the trailer launch of Vikram's recent release, Iru Mugan, Hari had confirmed that he will be teaming up with the National Award-winning actor for the sequel of Saamy.

According to latest updates, a few media houses claimed that Rakul Preet Singh has been finalised as the leading heroine of Saamy 2. There were reports also that director Hari had approached Rakul Preet Singh to offer the role of female lead in the Vikram starrer.

But the Sarrainodu actress squashed the reports. She said;

"I'm not doing Saamy 2. Forget the role of female lead, no one from the Saamy 2 team has approached me with any roles. All these stories are baseless".

Well, her statement puts an end to the rumors connecting Rakul Preet Singh with Vikram's Saamy 2.

Meanhwile, the shooting of Rakul's un-titled film with AR Murugadoss and Mahesh Babu is curently going on at a brisk speed. The title and first look of the film are expected to be revealed on Diwali.
