Hansika Motwani, Aap Ka Suroor actress lands in legal trouble! Might go to jail for smoking in a movie poster
Aap Ka Suroor actress Hansika Motwani has landed into a legal trouble after a police case has been registered against her over a poster of her upcoming film in which she can be seen smoking.
Hansika Motwani, who had an only single release this year, recently announced her 50th film title 'Maha' an action thriller that will be directed by debutant UR Jameel.
Along with Motwani, Director UR Jameel have landed in trouble because of the poster. In one of the posters of the film 'Maha,' Himesh Reshammiya co-actress can be seen seated in a throne among sadhus and is seen smoking a chillum.
This poster has later triggered controversy and a police case has been slapped on Motwani and director UR Jameel.
As per reports in IndiaToday, Janakiraman from Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) has filed a petition at the court citing it has hurt the sentiments of religious people. He urged for the action against Hansika and Jameel. As of now, neither Hansika nor Jameel have reacted to the controversy.
