
After the super success of Jacobinte Swargarajyam, Nivin Pauly is ready with his next project which will be directed by actor-turned-director Sidhartha Siva.
The untitled film started rolling in Thrissur on 25 May 2016. The film marks the Malayalam debut of Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh, who proved her acting prowess in Attakathi and Kaaka Muttai.Charlie actress Aparna Gopinath plays the second female lead in the film.
The film also marks the arrival of noted Tamil cinematographer George C Williams in Malayalam cinema.
Williams is one of the most promising cinematographers in Kollywood, lending his expertise with the camera to films such as Raja Rani, Naanum Rowdydhaan and Vijay's blockbusters Kaththi and Theri.
Interestingly, both Nivin Pauly and George Williams had previously worked together for a song Nenjodu Cherthu in an album named Yuvvh in 2012, directed by Alphone Putharen, director of blockbuster Premam.
Reportedly, Nivin will be portraying the role of a student political leader in the film. Touted as a family entertainer, the
film by the national award-winning director
also stars veteran actors like Sreenivasan, Maniyan Pilla Raju, and Suraj Venjaramoodu. A staple in every Nivin Pauly movie, Aju Varghese is also essaying an important role in the film.Sidhartha, himself penned the script for the film and is produced under the banner of Universal Cinema. He has recently completed the filming of his upcoming Kunchacko Boban starrer, Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho. His directorial debut, 101 Chodhyangal won him the National Award for best debutant director in 2013.
