Watch: 67-year-old Karnataka minister Mtb Nagaraj breaks into ‘nagin dance’ during poll campaign; video goes viral

A Karnataka Housing Minister MTB Nagaraj of Congress broke into ‘Nagin Dance’ while campaigning for Lok Sabha poll. Nagaraj went ahead to amuse people and shook leg at Hoskote, 27 km from Bengaluru.

The video has gone viral. The minister even had his own music. A live band following the minister Nagaraj's convoy played the famous song from 1954 hit film ''Nagin''. As Minister’s name means ‘King Cobra’, tune started. After which 67-year-old Nagaraj apparently couldn't help himself and started to dance.

Nagaraj had gone with his supporters to a village in Hoskote on Tuesday evening.

Today,  Phase 1 polling are held in the states like Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Telangana are voting today in a single phase. Phase 1 voting is also being held in parts of Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

Lok election polling is scheduled to hold in 7 phase from April 11 to May 19. The counting of votes will be done on May 23rd. Karnataka votes in two phases on April 18 and 23.
