Rajasthan woman accuses IPS officer of harassment, stalking; police refuse to file FIR

Serious allegations have come to light against an IPS officer of Rajasthan for harassing and stalking a 30 years old woman. The woman has identified the IPS officer as Inspector General (IG) of Bikaner, BL Meena, an Indian Police Services (IPS) officer from 1999 Rajasthan crade. Earlier, Meena was the IG of Police (Training) at the Police Headquarters in Rajasthan's Capital Jaipur.

The woman has allegedly said that she met BL Meena in January for a case and that since then he had been stalking her. She comes with lawyer met Super indent of Police of Bikaner, Pradeep Mohan on 3rd June and started her wish to register FIR against the senior police officer. The woman also made allegations that the police officer not just calling her incessantly on instant messaging application WhatsApp but he also sending her lewd messages over the last few months.

However, now the woman claims that she is being pressurised to withdraw the case against the IG-level IPS officer since he has approached SP of Bikaner. Meanwhile, the allegedly accused IG of Bikaner has been on leave for a month and no official complaint has been filed against him yet. The woman also has shown the screenshot of the calls made by IPS officer to her.

These allegations and case has come out after the Rajasthan state in under examine for law and order. There have been many cases of crime have filed against women and children. A few months ago the Alwar gang rape case was also in the light when a woman was raped by five men in front of her husband.
