Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tribute to freedom fighter Shyamji Krishna Varma on his birth anniversary.
In a Tweet, PM Modi said his phenomenal contribution to India's freedom struggle lives in people's heart.

He said Shyamji Krishna Varma is remembered as a torchbearer of patriotism who motivated many to join the freedom struggle.
The Prime Minister has always considered Shyamji Krishna Varma as one of his idols and has sought to preserve his legacy in the hearts and minds of a billion Indians.
