Grand salute to Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman! IAF pilot did this brave thing after realising that he was in PoK

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has become the hero of every Indian’s heart for showing his positive attitude even in the captivity of Pakistan. The video that has been released by Pakistan army of MiG pilot, in which he can be seen with a cup of tea and also applauding the Pak army that how they treated him, showed the power of Indian army even after at the place of enemy.

Abhinandan has not only showed his confidence but also his presence of mind after his plane got crashed in PoK.


As per the reports in the Pakistani media suggested that the MiG-21 had crashed some kilometres from the Line of Control on Wednesday. His plane was crashed while chasing out Pakistani fighter jets from the Indian territory in Jammu and Kashmir. However, he got safe even after his plane got crashed due to his parachute.

As soon as he came down to Pok’s land, the Indian Air Force pilot was surrounded by the local, Pakistani media reported.

Initially, he was fooled by the locals by saying that he is in India, soon, Wg Cdr Abhinandan realised that he was in PoK.

To protect himself, he started running towards the LoC, unfortunately, he would not able to come to the Indian side of the LoC, therefore, he jumped into a pond.

Reportedly, his sole purpose to do so was to make sure that the operational documents and maps should not come into the hands of Pakistan. Therefore, he used his mind and tried to swallow some of the papers and jumped into the water so that the important documents get wet and become useless for Pak.

After a while, the Pakistan Army reached the spot and took the pilot into their custody. There are the reports that he was taken to Army installation in Bhimber.

However, after capturing IAF pilot, locals didn't behave well with him, as per shown in the video released by Pak.

Also, India has strongly objected to Pakistan's vulgar display of an injured personnel of the Indian Air Force in violation of all norms of International Humanitarian Law and the Geneva Convention.
