After the formidable performance, Congress in three Hindi heartland states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the suspense on the CM post still remains in the party. Especially, there seems to be more attractive for Rajasthan, where Ashok Gehlot as an experienced leader and young politician Sachin Pilot is the main two main contenders.

Both leaders reached Delhi on Thursday morning to meet party president Rahul Gandhi over decide Chief Minister in Rajasthan. Supervisors who have examined the views of MLAs in Rajasthan along with Gehlot and Pilot are also in Delhi.


And finally, the suspense has come to its end and the Chief Minister desert state has been finalized. As per Leading TV news channel, Rahul Gandhi, Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot and several senior party leader have decided the new CM of Rajasthan. As per Tv news report, the announcement of Rajasthan Chief Minister will be made at 4 pm in Jaipur.

Around two-thirds of the newly-elected Congress lawmakers want Sachin Pilot to be the Chief Minister of the state. Supporters of Congress leader Sachin Pilot are raising slogans outside All India Congress Committee headquarters in Delhi demanding his selection as Rajasthan Chief Minister. While others are batting for two-time Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Several other independent senior leaders are calling for Ashok Gehlot as he is senior and served twice as CM.

Earlier, when the Congress President Rahul Gandhi was asked over Chief Minister choice, he broke his silence and said that this will be announced soon. Rahul Gandhi said that he was had word with party workers and leaders. Legislators are also being considered and the name of CM will be announced soon.

While others are batting for two-time Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Several other independent senior leaders are calling for Ashok Gehlot as he is senior and served twice as CM. Meanwhile, Gehlot has condemned the slogan raised by the supporters of Sachin Pilot over Rajasthan CM race.
