Delhi Weather Alert: National capital witness slight dip in mercury; rains expected

Delhi residents wake up to a chilly morning with mercury fell by a notch in the on Sunday. The minimum temperature settled at 7 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature settled at 17 degrees Celsius.

The weatherman has forecast mainly clear sky and shallow fog later by the day. A spell of light rain is also predicted on Tuesday, owing to a fresh western disturbance.

 

 

Dense to very dense fog observed over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh at 0530 hrs IST of today. Owing to the bad weather flights were running late so passengers are requested to contact the airline concerend for updated flight information. 

By 11 am, the air quality index of Delhi ranged from 335 or 'very poor' at Anand Vihar to 293 or 'poor' at ITO area, as per data of the Central Pollution Control Board.
