IAF chopper, MI-17, had to make an emergency landing inside Mumbai's famous Bandra-Kurla complex due to a technical snag on October 21st.

No casualty to either man or machine has been reported.

On a routine training round, the MI-17 was supposed to land at the Indian Air Force base in Colaba, in south Mumbai. But due to an undisclosed technical issue, it was forced to make an emergency landing on MMRDA grounds, where the complex is situated.

The busy (and congested) Bandra-Kurla Complex is home to many corporates and is only seven kilometers from the airport. At the sight of a chopper landing right in front of their offices, hundreds rushed out to watch.
