Ravindra Jadeja set to tie nuptial knot with Riva Solanki today

Gujarat Lions all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja missed the Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Mumbai Indians as he is all set to tie the nuptial knot with Riva Solanki, a mechanical engineer, in Rajkot on 17 April.

While his team registered a thrilling three-wicket win over Mumbai yesterday, the 27-year-old Indian cricketer was busy entertaining the guests with his sword skills during the Sangeet ceremony.

"Ravindra Jadeja is not going to play today's match and has not come to Mumbai with the team as he is getting married on Sunday," sources in Gujarat Lions team said on 16 April.

"It is also not sure whether he would be available for game against Sunrisers Hyderabad to be played on April 21," sources said adding that the game is to be played in Rajkot and therefore there are still chances of Jadeja playing in that match.

The new entrant in the ninth edition of IPL has so far played well, registering two wins in two matches.

Jadeja, one of the team's key player, played well in the game against Rising Pune Supergiants where he took two wickets and conceded only 18 runs in his four-over spell.

Sources also said that Gujarat Lions team members, including Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo, are expected to attend the wedding reception today.
