Shocking! 3 men added phenyl in water tank of quarantine centre to kill cops; know what happened next
In a shocking incident took place in Ludhiana where three men tried to kill the policemen working at the quarantine centre. According to the reports, the three men posing as transgenders allegedly added phenyl in a water tank as they want to poison the police.
Police have arrested the three accused by the Jodhewal police in Ludhiana. They have been lodged at a quarantine centre.
However, constable working at the quarantine centre didn’t drink the water.
The accused men have been identified as Guniya alias Nitika Khunsi, Gaurav, and Simran.
A constable named Gurpinder Singh said that Arshpreet Kaur Grewal had been deployed at the quarantine centre to ensure the safety of sub-inspector Arshpreet Kaur Grewal, SHO Jodhewal police station.
When Kaur was tested positive for COVID-19, Gurpinder Singh, a constable named Rajinder Singh and sub-inspector Amritpal Sharma were quarantined in a building in Krishna Colony, timesnownews.com.
After some time, people who were in a touch of the coronavirus patients were also quarantined in the facility. On Tuesday, when Gurprinder Singh opened the tap to get drinking water he noticed that it emanating a bad smell. He came to know that it was a smell of phenyl, then Gurpinder Singh rushed to the water tank and saw that phenyl had been added in the water.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the three accused had been spotted near the water tank. SI Arhspreet Kaur Grewal told The Times of India, “Guniya is a man but has been living as a transgender with Gaurav and Simran. They indulged in activities like drug peddling.”
The accused Guniya wanted to kill cop because his brother was arrested by the Jodhewal police in December 2019 due to which he nurtured a grudge against the police and wanted to kill the cop by mixing phenyl in the water supply.
