MP Horror: Two brothers hacked to death by nephew over land dispute

A horrific incident was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district where two brothers were axed to death by their nephew and his accomplices on Saturday. The crime took place around 7 am when nearly half-a-dozen of men barged in their house.

The two brothers identified as Amar Singh and Girwar Rawat were brutally assaulted by the half-dozens of men. After assaulting them with an axe they fled from the spot. The family then immediately rushed them to nearby hospital wherein they were declared brought dead.


As per reports, both the brothers died due to excessive bleeding. After receiving the information of double murder the police immediately swung into the action and reached the hospital. During investigation when they asked the villagers why they didn’t intervene to which they said that they were scared due to the numerical strength of assailants.

The police then investigated the family who then told that their nephew did this crime as two days ago an argument broke out between his father (Girwar), uncle (Amar) on one side and the accused family on the other side over a land dispute. During the discord, the accuse threatened of killing his father and uncle.

The police have booked the accuse under double murder case while the hunt is on to nab the accused men. Meanwhile, due to the double murder incident, a state of tension has developed in the village. The police force has been deployed in the area to maintain the calm and avoid any unexpected incident.
