Delhi: Fire breaks out at shoe factory; 4 injured in Uttam Nagar mishap

Fire breaks out at shoe factory (ANI)

A fire broke out at a shoe manufacturing unit at Lawrence Road in Delhi on Tuesday morning, reported ANI. No casualties reported.

According to reports, as many as 26 fire tenders rushed to the site after being informed and the fire fighting was underway till the last report came in.


The exact cause behind the fire mishap is yet to be known.

In another fire mishap in the National Capital, as many as four people, including a girl sustained burn injuries in a mishap at a house in Uttam Nagar area on Tuesday.

As per reports, the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call about the fire mishap at 12 am.

Though the exact reason behind the fire mishaps is yet to know, it was suspected that the fire broke out after a leaking cooking gas cylinder exploded.

Meanwhile, the injured are rushed to DDU hospital and undergoing treatment till the last report came in.
