UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017: Topper Anudeep Durishetty reveals his success mantra and says, ‘This was my last attempt and the journey was not easy’

Every student in India who is having a dream to be a part of government sector then, he/she definitely try for UPSC exam, which is one of the most reputed examinations in the country. It is not easy to qualify the Union Public Service Commission exam in one attempt. However, many of the candidates have cleared their examination in their first attempt also. On 27 April, UPSC has announced its 2017 results on the official website.

 


 

As the results get announced, everyone wanted to know that who is the topper and finally, the topper was from Telangana. Yes, the first-rank holder is Anudeep Durishetty who accomplished his goal after trying so hard. He revealed about his success mantra and about his journey that how he started preparing for the examination.

Here’s what the topper Durishetty said about his success:

‘This was his fifth and the last attempt at appearing for the UPSC examination to accomplish his target of life. Before this, he had been failed thrice for qualifying the examination. The Telangana UPSC topper said that his journey was not easy. He started preparing for Union Public Service Commission examination in 2012. As he was also working at some place and unable to join any coaching centre to prepare for the Civil Services examination. Because of his regular job, he was not able to get much time to devote to his studies during the weekdays. Therefore, he used to prepare the most for his weekends and study as much as he can.

Durishetty has completed his engineering from BITS Pilani and also was an employee of Google. He also thanked his family to support him and for remaining his backbone during his tough time.

Currently, Anudeep is serving as an Assistant Tax Commissioner in Hyderabad. But now his life has completely changed as he has achieved his target of life.
