JKSSB Jobs 2019: Good news for over 2000 teachers! Important notification for candidates from Kashmir Valley

It must be good news for the Kashmir Valley candidates who have applied for the teaching jobs under JKSSB!

In the latest notification of JKSSB said that the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has selected over 2000 posts of teachers in 14 districts. Out of the total districts, 10 in Kashmir Valley and four in Jammu, an official said on 24th February 2019.

Also, the board has released the waiting lists for over 1000 candidates against these selections for the teacher posts, JKSSB PRO Malik Suhail said.

Board official said that the selections for the post were confronted with many issues like no information about degrees in online application forms, massive litigations and many others.

As per the reports of India Today, ‘the issues were sorted out after consulting with the General Administration Department and the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and disposed of 387 representations and claims of the candidates and cleared the selections accordingly,’ an official said.

However, JKSSB has selected candidates for 2154 posts of teachers in the given below districts:

• Anantnag
• Bandipora
• Baramulla
• Budgam
• Ganderbal
• Kulgam
• Kupwara
• Pulwama
• Shopia
• Srinagar districts in the Valley
• Samba
• Udhampur
• Reasi
• Rajouri district
