JEE Advanced 2019 Exam: Shocking News! NTA postpones Joint Engineering Examination Main exam; here’s why

The National Testing Agency has officially postponed the JEE Advanced exam which is likely to be on 19th May 2019. Now, NTA has released an official notification and notified about the revised schedule of the JEE Advanced 2019 exam.

As per the latest notification, the Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Main examination will be held on 27th May 2019 instead of 19th May.


Know the reason behind exam postponed:

As per the official notification released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, ‘In view of the clash in the dates of JEE (Advanced) 2019 and the last phase of General Elections 2019, the examination date of JEE (Advanced) 2019 has been shifted to May 27, 2019 (Monday).’

 

‘The examination will be held in India and abroad, on May 27, 2019 (Monday), in the following two shifts: Paper 1 (09:00 to 12:00 IST) and Paper 2 (14:00 to 17:00 IST),’ reads official notification.

Selection process:

Candidates who will qualify the JEE Advanced will be eligible to take the admissions to the IITs’ undergraduate courses leading to Bachelor’s, Master’s courses, integrated master's or bachelor-master dual degree in engineering, sciences, or architecture.
