Attention! JEE Advanced Exam 2019 tomorrow; here are key instructions candidates need to follow

The Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Roorkee is all set to conduct a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2019 on Monday, May 27. The IIT Roorkee has recently released the hall tickets for JEE Advanced examination 2019 on May 20.

The entire examination of JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted online mode i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in two sessions.


A total of 2,45,000 candidates who have qualified in JEE Main 2019 are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2019 examination. The Paper I for JEE Advanced 2019 will be held from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and Paper II from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

The candidates whose fee payment is yet pending are advised to bring cash or Demand draft in the name of ‘Organizing Chairman JEE (Advanced)2019. “ The candidates who have not paid the fee yet may bring cash or Demand Draft in the name of "Organizing Chairman, JEE (Advanced) 2019" for Rs. 3100.00 OR Rs. 1800.00 as the case may be, on the day of the examination,” the official notification said.

Key instruction for JEE Advanced 2019 that candidates need to know:

1. First, the candidates should not forget to bring their JEE Advanced 2019 admit card. If one forget, he/she won’t be allowed to enter the examination without JEE Advanced 2019 admit card.

2. Along with admit card, candidates should also bring their ID proof along with the JEE Advanced 2019 to admit card

3. Candidate should not carry any electronic devices inside the examination hall, as all of it is barred inside the hall.

4. Candidates should reach the examination centre 15 minutes before reporting time (mentioned on admit card)

The online registration for JEE Advanced 2019 was commenced on May 3 and ended on May 9, 2019.
