Former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid is among the legends the game has produced. Dravid was ‘The Wall’ of Indian cricket and was one of the best Test cricketer of his time. Rahul Dravid was recently greeted at FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou Stadium in Spain.
Management of FC Barcelona produced a team jersey to Rahul Dravid with his name in-scripted on it. The official Twitter handle of FC Barcelona shared a picture of Rahul Dravid with a caption that read, “Rahul Dravid, it was a pleasure greeting you at Camp Nou! We hope you enjoyed our victory.”
The Indian Premier League official Twitter handle commented on the post shared by FC Barcelona, where they wrote, “ Thank you @FCBarcelona for having Rahul Dravid at Camp Nou! About time one of your legends witnesses an IPL Game.”
Rahul Dravid is currently the overseas batting consultant of team India and the coach for India A and U-19 Indian cricket team. Rahul Dravid has 25,000 international runs and last played for India in 2011.
Dravid made his debut in 1996 against England in Test cricket and his ODI debut was against Sri Lanka in the same year.
Dravid has 13,288 runs from 164 Test match at an average of 52.31. Dravid is also among the few batsmen to complete 10,000 ODI runs as he played 344 matches and scored 10,889 runs at an average of 39.16. Dravid boasts of 36 centuries in Test cricket where as in ODI cricket he has 12 centuries to his name.
