Chennai Super Kings bowler Deepak Chahar has grown as a bowler. His power-play bowling is compared with the best in the game. In his 23rd game in the Indian Premier League, Chahar registered a bowling figure of 3-20 in four overs. Chahar was even awarded the man of the match for his fantastic performance with the ball.

Deepak Chahar gave away just 20 runs from the four overs he bowled and interestingly he bowled 20 dot balls in that. With this Deepak Chahar became a bowler to throw most number of dot balls in an innings, to be precise he threw 20 dot balls in four overs. His 3.2 overs went without runs while the remaining four balls went for a six, two fours, a wide and one ball went for a four with over-throw.

The match was a low scoring affair as Kolkata Knight Riders could score only 108 runs from 20 overs. Andre Russell was the only batsman who was standing till the last ball as he scored 50 runs in the process, which was his slowest in 2019. Faf du Plessis and Kedar Jadhav won the match for Chennai Super Kings by 7 wickets.

Chennai Super Kings will play Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium today. Chennai is currently sitting on top of the table as they have played six matches and won five of them. It has 10 points beside its name. Rajasthan Royals are at number seven on points table and have two points to their name from the five matches they have played.
