Ravichandran Ashwin is not in India’s World Cup squad but that doesn’t keep him from making headlines. Ravi Ashwin’s hilarious reply to the premier space agency of the world, NASA is the funniest thing on the internet today.

NASA took to their official Twitter account to share the news of rain on the moon. NASA scientists discovered that water is being released on the lunar surface during meteor showers. Ravichandran Ashwin replied to the NASA tweet pointing out at scorching Indian summer he said, “Can we have some pls?”

In most of the Indian states summer temperatures have reached 45-50 degree celsius and people are craving for rain and so is Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin is not part of the Indian team that has traveled to England and Wales for the World Cup.

Ashwin was leading Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League which finished at number six on the points table. Ashwin and team had a good start but gradually started losing crucial games before the playoffs started.

The Virat Kohli-led Indian team won their first match against South Africa by six wickets. Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal shined with the ball while Rohit Sharma finished the job with his bat. India will play their next match against Australia on June 9.
