India and Australia will be playing their third one-day international match at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi today. Team India will be looking to take their winning momentum in the third ODI as well. The host is currently leading by 2-0 in the five-match ODI series and if they win this match they will seal the series by 3-0.

MS Dhoni and team India will definitely look to secure the ODI series today in Ranchi after their humiliating defeat in the T20I series. The Indian team is going to get a huge support by the locals as it is Dhoni’s hometown. By looking at the current line-up of both the teams, India goes into the match as everyone’s favorite.

The average 1st innings score at the JSCA stadium is 249 and the average 2nd innings score is 178, both of them are not difficult to achieve by this Indian lot. But there is one point to take note of for team India and be careful about is the highest total in the ground is by Australia. The visitors made 295 against India in October 2013.

The JSCA stadium complex has seen two ODI centuries in the past, one by Sri Lanka’s Angelo Mathews and the other one was by the current Indian captain Virat Kohli. Both of them hit an unbeaten 139 against each other’s team. We can expect Virat Kohli to hit his 41st ODI century in today’s match and to take India to a 3-0 series lead.
