Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan all set to make film debut

Former Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan are all set to make their acting debut in Tamil cinema.

Irfan Pathan will be seen playing a leading role in the forthcoming film, titled Vikram 58 and the movie will be directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu.


Pathan posted a clip on Twitter verifying the news about his acting debut and tweeted: "New venture, new challenge looking forward to it," as the caption.

Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh will also be making his acting debut in a film titled Dikkiloona, which will be directed by Karthik Yogi.

"Introducing me to Tamil cinema @kjr_studios, #dikkiloona @SoldiersFactory, @iamsanthanam. Thanks to the team. The earth that formed. These are the relationships that stopped me from saying words," Harbhajan tweeted.

Irfan Pathan has not featured in international cricket since 2012. he played his last T20 match for India against Sri Lanka in 2012. he was the second Indian to take a hat-trick after Harbhajan Singh.

Pathan has featured in 29 Test matches and has scalped 100 wickets, he also featured in 102 ODIs for the national side in which he has 173 wickets to his name. While, Harbhajan Singh played his last game for India in 2016. he has featured in 236 ODIs, 103 Test and 28 T20Is for the men in blue.
