This Bollywood movie got the first ever kissing scene of Hindi film

Bollywood films are popular for their lively romantic scenes. Nowadays, bold scenes have become priorities of the Bollywood films, but do you know when the first kissing scene in Bollywood was shot.

Notably, the first kissing scene in Bollywood was shot 84 years back and it was in the film Karma. Today, actor Emraan Hashmi is considered as the kiss symbol of Bollywood and if Emraan is the lead actor in any film, then the audience will surely expect some steamy scenes.

While such scenes may have now become common, they were rarely used in the old times. It was Bollywood actress Devika Rani who was the first one to give kissing scene to the Hindi film industry.

Karma was released in 1933 and Bollywood actors Himanshu Rai and Devika Rani had shot the first kissing scene in front of the camera. The 4-minute long kissing scene was not part of any romantic scene or lovemaking scene but the heroine was trying to recover hero from unconsciousness by kissing him.
