Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to back on the silver screen after the debacle of her last film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The actress will be next seen in The Zoya Factor, based on Anuja Chauhan's 2008 novel of the same name. The story of the film revolves around a girl, Zoya Solanki, who becomes a lucky charm for Indian cricket team during 2011 cricket world cup.
The film has Dulquer Salmaan in the leading role alongside Sanjay Kapoor. The actress shared the first look poster of her from the film on Instagram and wrote, "Who needs Nimbu Mirchi, when you have Zoya Solanki! India’s lucky charm is here to turn tables around for you."
In this poster, Sonam Kapoor can be seen posing like a Laxmi Goddess standing on a platform wearing Saree, but she has a helmet in her one hand and bat on her other hand. She can also be seen sporting heavy jewellery that is complementing her cute and charming smile. The makers of The Zoya Factor have started the promotions of the film by an 'India's Ka Lucky Charm'.
The Zoya Factor is about a girl called Zoya Solanki who meets Indian team during her job as an executive in an advertising agency. However, she ends up becoming a lucky charm for team India in the World Cup. The things turn when she falls in love with skipper Nikhil Khoda (Salmaan Dulquer) who is against superstition and lucky charm. The film is going to release on 20th September 2019.
