Director Nitesh Tiwari breaks silence on casting Hrithik Roshan as Lord Ram in Ramayana

Recently there were the reports that Hrithik Roshan has been approached to play lord Rama in Ramayana in Nitesh Tiwari's next Ramayana. Interestingly, a few days ago it was announced directors Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udhyawar will collaborate for upcoming project Ramayana 3D. The project will be one of the most expensive films of India.

However, director Nitesh Tiwari finally has broken silence over the casting and he clears all the air on the rumour. He said that the script is not completed yet so how can be casting come on the process. Nitesh Tiwari who is busy for his next film Chhichore recently spoke on Ramayan and its casting.

 

“No, we are still working on the draft, we will not move and ask anyone till we are not happy and sure of what’s there on the table and what exactly we’re going to do. The casting and other aspects come in later. Sridhar Raghavan is writing the screenplay and once we know where we stand on paper only then we would be moving ahead with the rest of the things.” said Nitesh Tiwari.

 

Let us tell you that lately there were the rumours that Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone were approached to play leading roles of Ram-Sita in Ramayana. The film will be jointly made under the producers Allu Aravinda and Madhu Mantena. While talking about Chhichore which stars Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput is going to release on 6th September 2019.
