OK Jaanu Box-Office: The Shraddha Kapoor - Aditya Roy Kapur falls flat in its opening weekend

OK Jaanu starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur failed to show any substantial growth in collections in its opening weekend as the film raked in 4.82 crore on Sunday taking the 3 day total to 13.82 crore.
While the performance across the country was poor, the movie comparatively fared better in Mumbai and Pune. The film faced competition from xXx: The Return of Xander Cage at the Box-Office, however even that can't justify the poor trend in its opening weekend.
Day Wise Box Office:
- Friday: 4.08 crore
- Saturday: 4.90 crore
- Sunday: 4.82 crore
- Total: 13.82 crore
OK Jaanu has been smartly budgeted as Karan Johar sold the theatrical as well as satellite rights well in advance. While the producer might just break-even, the movie will be a loss making venture for the distributors.
