Salman Khan who just launched the trailer of Notebook is heels high, he is putting all his efforts in promoting his latest movie. Zaheer Iqbal-Ptanutan Bahl is the third pair after Sooraj Pancholi - Athiya Shetty and Ayush Sharma-Warina Hussain who are being launched by Salman Khan's production house. He is known to help his colleagues children by launching them.
Salman Khan who launched Iqbal's son Zaheer Iqbal and Mohnish Bahl's daughter Pranutan Bahl in Notebook said, “Not help, I launch deserving candidates, not anybody” when asked him launching the third pair in a row. While launching both Zaheer and Pranutan Salman shared personal anecdotes.
On Zaheer Iqbal, Bharat actor Salman has an interesting story to tell, he told media that Zaheer was not willing to do the movie, he was not much interested but after many hardships, Salman convinced him. Zaheer has also worked as assistant director in his movie Jai Ho. Salman also told that when he doesn't like his work, he makes him do it all over again.
While introducing Mohnish Bahl's daughter Pranutan he said, “I remember Mohnish working three shifts when I was struggling. I used to model and assist a bit and work out in the gym. One day, I was working out, Mohnish comes and tells me how he is tired of working round the clock and that he wishes that God gives him a break. Next week, his film Teri Baahon Mein released. God did listen to him and gave him the longest break of his life (laughs). Then I got a film called Maine Pyar Kiya. The first person to sign me, Raj Babu (Raj Kumar Barjatya) passed away yesterday. God bless his soul. So I went and met Raj Babu. They signed me for the film. It had a negative lead. So I suggested to him that he should try Mohnish Behl. Raj Babu was apprehensive to offer Mohnish a negative role as he was Nutanji’s son. I then went to Nutanji’s residence and she convinced Raj Babu that Mohnish could do it.”
Later, Mohnish told that it was not Athiya and Sooraj, Salman launched him first in Maine Pyaar Kiya.
