Actor John Abraham's latest Bollywood offering, Rocky Handsome has opened to mix reviews at the Box Office. While for some, this action-packed drama is just another forgettable Bollywood film, for others, it's one of John's best.

It is surely an out and out John Abraham film, which also features actor Shruti Haasan and director Nishikant Kamat. However, John, who has also co-produced the film, has been promoting it without its female face, Shruti.

At a promotional event in Delhi, John and Nishikant spoke about Shruti Hassan's absence. They mentioned that it was a very 'cordial' decision on Shruti's part to accept the film as she's doing a special appearance in it.

"Shruti has a special appearance in Rocky Handsome and we're very thankful to her that she accepted the offer. She's very good friends with John and their chemistry instantly clicks. They have also featured together in Welcome Back. Therefore, we couldn't ask her to do more than what she has already done for the film," said Nshikant Kamat.

John added: "Even though Shruti has done a special appearance in Rocky Handsome, you won't realise that. This is because Nishikant has directed it so beautifully that you'll think Shruti is there throughout the film. I am here on behalf of everyone associated with the film."
