Actor Vivek Oberoi is currently in the buzz for his next film biopic on PM Narendra Modi. He revealed in one of the promotional interviews that he was considered for the leading role of Munna Bhai MBBS. The actor revealed in one of his interviews that he was offered with the leading role but he has no dates for the project and later the role went to Sanjay Dutt.

According to Vivek Oberoi, he was impressed with the script and even said yes to director Rajkumar Hirani but later he had to reject the film. Let us tell you that Munna Bhai MBBS became a cult hit and it is one of the finest performances of Sanjay Dutt ever. The film is also being told as the comeback of Sanjay Dutt in the films after he came out of Jail.

''I wanted to do Munnabhai, I said yes to it, but destiny had it that it was supposed to be a Sanjay Dutt film. I couldn’t adjust my dates,'' Vivek Oberoi told in an interview.

The interesting thing is that a few months ago the filmmaker Sajid Khan also revealed that the role of Circuit was first offered to him but he didn't do the film. Now imagine if they both would have said yes to it then will this film be a hit or a cult classic of Indian cinema. Well, we can just only say the film was only made for Sanju Baba and his Circuit Arshad Warsi.

After the success of Munna Bhai MBBS, director Rajkumar Hirani made a sequel to the film called Lage Raho Munna Bhai and it was a hit. Even Lage Raho Munna Bhai was considered the most relevant social film. Now the makers are planning to bring the third sequel of Munna Bhai series.
