3 things Jennifer Winget said about Karan-Bipasha, being single & her new TV show

With Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover's much-anticipated wedding finally underway, Grover's former wife, Jennifer Winget has finally broken her silence on the issue.

In an interview with a leading daily, Jennifer - who separated from Karan, her husband of two years, in January this year - did not shy away from responding to questions about her personal life. She wished the couple on their wedding and spoke about her exciting new projects.

Here are excerpts from the interview:

On her marriage with KSG:

It was an experience, and an amazing roller-coaster ride. There were some happy and sad moments. But I know that I gave my 500 per cent [to my marriage], and no one can point a finger at me. I don't regret a single day of my life. But, s**t happens. I don't feel bitter or hold any grudges. I am in a happy space. People might think otherwise, but that's not the case.

On Karan-Bipasha wedding:

I wish them good luck, and a happy married life. I think they make an amazing couple. Marriage is a beautiful thing if two people work on it and want to be together. May God bless them. I feel love is an amazing thing, and if you can feel it for someone, it is great.

On being single:

It is amazing. I was never totally single in my life, and now in my thirties, I am. Also, now I am more mature, I understand people, and I'm not naive or stupid. Every girl should be single at 30. It's a liberating feeling to be free. Guys hit on me and it feels good. They get intimidated by me, and I feel powerful. I feel people should have humour in their lives, as it makes it easy to handle any situation. At present, I don't feel a lack of anything in my life.

On her next TV show:

I hadn't taken up new projects for a long time, as I was bored of doing the same roles. In my new show, I don't play a good daughter-in-law or any daughter, as I don't feel excited about such roles anymore. I play a sociopath in my new show, which is exciting. This will be a good change for the audience, and also for me, as I have never played a role with grey shades. It's making me nervous too.

Jennifer is also gearing up for her Bollywood debut opposite filmmaker Kunal Kohli, who is also debuting in acting in Bollywood with Phir Se. Watch the trailer of the film here:
