Deadly: Katrina Kaif to be Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter in Vikas Bahl’s next?

Katrina Kaif was soon to hit the theatres along with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in Sooryavanshi. However, due to the rising cases of Coronavirus, the film’s release got postponed and whole Mumbai was forced to go into isolation. Since the actress is making most out of this time and is also keeping her fans updated with her routine so we thought why not we also give you some good news.

The good news is the actress is in talks with Super 30 director Vikas Bahl for his next film Deadly. As per our sources, the actress has approved the film which is a comedy flick wherein she will essay the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter in the lead.


Tentatively makers have named the film Deadly which revolves around a funereal. Katrina and Vikas have discussed the central character with Brahmastra actor who is keen to do the film, however, they are yet to sign on the dotted lines.

Now, this is going to be interesting as at the beginning of the year we saw an advertisement wherein Katrina essayed the role of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan’s daughter. It was a jewellery advertisement which showcased Katrina’s wedding. In this advertisement, we saw a glimpse of the father-daughter relation.

As per reports, the film is supposed to go on the floors in May but due to the current situation, the film’s shooting might get postponed. Talking about the film, a source revealed, "Katrina loved the basic premise, which essentially traces the protagonist’s journey of self-discovery with humorous undertones, and gave an instant go-ahead to Vikas.”
