Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: After Dr. Hathi aka Kavi Kumar Azad’s death, here's how Jethalal and Dayaben of the show reacted
In a shocking piece of news that came on Monday, the famous actor of Sab TV's show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Kavi Kumar Azad who played the role of Dr. Hathi in the show passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest. The fans of the actor and the show and even the co-actors of the show were shocked to hear about the sad demise of the great actor.
As soon as the shocking announcement was made, everyone went in shock. The creator of the show gave a statement to IANS and said, “We are very sad to inform the loss of our senior actor Kavi Kumar Azad. He was playing the character of Dr. Hathi in 'Taarak Mehta...'. We lost him to a massive cardiac arrest today morning. He was an amazing actor and a very positive person.”
Further, he said, “He truly loved the show and always came for the shoot even if he was not feeling well. He called today morning saying that he is not well and will not be able to come for shoot. And later we got the news that he passed away. We are all too numb to say anything.”

The co-actors of Kavi were shocked to know the sad truth of his death. Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi from the show said that he had no idea about the same because he was in London and said that he needs to find what happened. Dayaben of the show Disha Vakani aka Dayaben who has now left the show took to her social media account and wrote on her Instagram story, "Can't believe it's true. RIP " - (sic)

Mandar Chandwadkar who plays the character of Bhide in the show told Spotboye that the news came as a big shock as they were supposed to shoot but since the announcement came that he is unwell and so everyone decided to let him rest. He said, “I still can’t believe that he is not with us. We used to sit together, eat together.”

Further, he said, “As soon as he used to come, even before greeting us with a good morning, he used to ask, ‘Tiffin mein kya laya hai?’ He was a foodie in real life also. He is irreplaceable.”
