Naagin actress, Mouni Roy dances her heart out with Akshay Kumar during Gold song launch; see viral video

One of Television's hot actresses, Mouni Roy who impressed the audience with her charming looks and acting skills in Ekta Kapoor's popular supernatural show, Naagin is all set to make her Bollywood acting debut and that too opposite Khiladi Akshay Kumar in Reema Kagti's film Gold.

Recently, the trailer of the film came out after which the first song Naino Ne Baandhi was also shared by the makers for the fans and they were surely impressed by their chemistry. Well, there's much more to it. As per the videos going viral on the internet, both the actors can be seen dancing their hearts out.

Mouni and Akshay, jumped up on the table and danced till the beats dropped during the song launch of the film and the video later went viral. It was also shared by the actress on her Instagram account and was captioned as, “It was a happy happy day.”

The plot of the film Gold revolves around the era of 1948 and tells the historic story of how the first Olympic medal was won by India as a free nation on the 12th of August 1948. The movie is all set to release on 15th August this year and is made under the banners of Excel Entertainment.

Talking about the movie, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha actor told a portal, “Aaj se 200 saal pehle, hum kisi doosre desh ke National Anthem ke liye khade hote the. Post 1947, when India became a free country, things changed. In 1948, it was for the first time that India, as a free country, played hockey at the Olympic Games hosted in England. Although it was the British who introduced the game to us, in 1948, we went to England and defeated them on their soil. They stood up for our National Anthem that was being played on their land, and it was a glorious moment of pride for free India.”

Further, he said, “This forms the thrust of 'Gold', which is inspired by true incidents. At a time when there are debates about whether one should really stand up when the National Anthem plays in a cinema hall, and whether there should be any mandate on playing it, Reema, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani (producers) brought a story to me which highlights the importance of our National Anthem.”
