Wildlife Showdown: Porcupine parents bravely protect baby from leopard attack [Dramatic Video]
When it comes to protecting their children, parents will go to any extent, whether they are human or animals. This video clip of an encounter between a leopard and porcupines clearly showcases parents' protectiveness.
In the video, porcupines are seen crossing the road with the baby porcupette when suddenly a leopard attacks them and tries to grab the younger one. The parent porcupines immediately spread their quills towards the leopard and keep their baby in between them. The big cat round around them and tries to attack the baby, but fails.
One of the parent porcupines fearlessly moves its quills at the leopard, forcing the predator to move back. The sharp quills prevented the leopard from getting close to the baby.

The video was shared by IAS officer Supriya Sahuthe on January 20 with caption, "Porcupine parents provide Z class security to their baby from a leopard, fighting valiantly & thwarting all attempts of the leopard to even touch their baby.”

Since being shared the clip has accumulated over 4lakh views and more than 5,000 likes. The fierce protectiveness of porcupine parents caught the attention of the users, with many wondering what happened next.
