Samsung launches mid-budget Galaxy Grand Prime 4G at Rs 11,100

Samsung has launched a new budget 4G smartphone, Galaxy Grand Prime 4G priced at Rs 11,100. The phone was launched at Samsung Forum and is available in white, grey and gold colour options.

Screen and display

Galaxy Grand Prime sports a 5-inch qHD (540x960p) TFT display.

Processor & storage

The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB storage which can be expanded up to 64GB through a microSD card.

Camera

Galaxy Grand Prime has an 8 megapixel auto-focus back camera with an LED flash. The front camera is of 5 megapixel.

Operating system

Galaxy Grand Prime 4G runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has Samsung's TouchWiz UI skin running on the top.

Connectivity

The smartphone supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G and 4G LTE.
