With numerous smartphone producers that have come up in the market of late, the smartphone market witnesses a myriad of phone launches almost everyday.

Here are the best smartphone that have been launched in the past 7 days:

Lava Iris X1 Selfie

The phone is best for selfie enthusiasts. It features a 5 megapixel front camera with an LED flash. It comes with a pre-installed 'Beauty-Fi' app which helps in taking bright selfies even in low light and offers a number of modes for shooting images. It sports a 4.5 inch display (854x480 pixels) and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad core processor, has 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 2,000mAh battery. It has an 8 megapixel rear camera and the memory is expandable up to 32GB.

Intex Aqua Trend

This is a 4G ready smartphone by Intex and sports a 5-inch IPS HD display (1280x720 pixels). The phone runs on Android 5.1 and is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad core MediaTek processor. It has a 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 3,000mAh battery. The dual-sim phone weighs just 152 grams. The phone has a 13 megapixels rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. In terms of connectivity it offers wifi, bluetooth and light sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G

Samsung's new budget 4G smartphone, Galaxy Grand Prime 4G priced at Rs 11,100. The phone sports a 5-inch qHD (540x960p) TFT display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB storage which can be expanded up to 64GB through a microSD card. It has an 8 megapixel auto-focus back camera with an LED flash. The front camera is of 5 megapixel and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has Samsung's TouchWiz UI skin running on the top. The smartphone supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G and 4G LTE.

Gionee Marathon M4

Gionee Marathon M4 is the successor to the Gionee M3. The smartphone features a massive 5,000mAh battery and claims it offers a talk time of 50 hours. The dual sim smartphone also 4G on both the sim slots and comes with a 5-inch amoled display (1280x720 pixels). It has a 1.3Ghz quad core processor, 2GB RAM and offers 16GB storage. M4 features a 8 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera. The memory is expandable up to 32GB. The phone runs on Android 5.0.
