
Chinese smartphone-maker OnePlus today announced the launch of its latest smartphone OnePlus X in India.
The smartphone hits Indian market just three months after the launch of its flagship model OnePlus 2. OnePlus X is said to be the 'mini' version of OnePlus 2.
Here are the detailed specifications along with the price of the newly launched smartphone:
Design
OnePlus X comes with a glass and metal design. The Onyx variant comes with a black glass design while the limited-edition Ceramic one has scratch-resistant glass (with metal frame).
Display
OnePlus X comes with a 5-inch FullHD AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and 441ppi pixel density.
Processor
The smartphone is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It will have 16GB and 64GB internal memory options, both expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card.
Camera
OnePlus X sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus (as fast as 0.2 seconds) and LED flash. The 8-megapixel camera at the front is a delight for selfie addicts.
Operating system
The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based Oxygen OS and supports 4G LTE.
Price
OnePlusX is priced at Rs 16,999 for the standard Onyx version and Rs 22,999 for the Ceramic version. Interestingly, just 10,000 have been made available.
The OnePlus X Onyx is available through invite only sales staring 5 November. OnePlus Ceramic version will be available via invite 24 November onwards.
OnePlus X is OnePlus' third smartphone and the second smartphone this year. Also, this is not the company's flagship smartphone. It is an attempt by the company to enter into the mid-range smartphone segment.
