Motorola to launch nex-gen Moto G and Moto X on 28 July

Motorola has sent out invites for a launch event on 28 July and this hints at a possible launch of third-generation Moto G and Moto X.

The event

The launch event will be held in New Delhi which will be followed by London, Sao Paulo and New York. Moto G is expected to be launch in India while the Moto X would be launched in Europe, considering the market.

The event invite says, "A good friend will offer you their umbrella. A best friend will forever be ready to dance in the rain with you." This hints at the possibility of a waterproof and splash proof Moto X smartphone.

Moto G specifications

After being accidently listed on Flipkart, a lot of specifications of the smartphone were revealed. Reports say that the nex-gen Moto G would be available in White colour and will have 8GB internal memory. Other specifications include a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 610 processor, 2 GB RAM, 5 or 5.2 inch display, 2GB RAM and the also the phone would support 4G.
