HopperHQ has put out its ‘Instagram Rich List’ for 2021, with Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo at the top of the pile as the highest earning person on the photo and video sharing platform. Ronaldo bags up to $1,604,000 (over Rs 11 crore) for each Instagram post, as maintained by the UK-based social media management agency’s ‘Instagram Rich List 2021’.

In the meantime, only one Indian managed to make it to the top 20 list, and that is Indian cricket skipper Virat Kohli. The latter was ranked 19th on the list, just above American singer Demi Lovato. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was the oher Indian who featured in the list at the 27th position.

On the report of HopperHQ, Virat Kohli demands up to $680,000 for each Instagram post that is around Rs 5 crore. For the cricketer, who has a fan following of 132 million, that is a leap from the previous year, when he was placed 23rd on the list.

In the meantime, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who has a massive following of 65 million on the photo and video sharing platform, made it to the 27th position. The Quantico actress reportedly earns $403,000 (around Rs 3 crore) for each promotional post she makes on Instagram.

The Instagram Rich List consists of 395 celebrities, sportspeople and influencers. In 2020, it was hollywood superstar Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who sat on top of the pile. This time, he lost the top spot to Cristiano Ronaldo, slipping to the second spot while reportedly earning more than $1,523,000 for each Instagram post.
