Admit it. Right after watching Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's latest romantic song from Dilwale Gerua, a part of your brain urged you to start humming Suraj Hua Madham from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Chances are, you're still humming it.
This phenomenon, according to Catch Bollywood experts, is known as whyisitsofreakingsimilarisation. (No, don't Google it.)
We wondered what it was that invoked such a strong sense of nostalgia for us. No, it isn't just the clothes. Or the general flowyness. It's also frame by frame timing.
And before you get upset with us for nitpicking on SRK-Kajol romance, watch this video.
Disclaimer: It's not the lip-syncing we're focussing on here.

Absolutely nothing, I repeat, nothing, has changed. In some shots, not even the clothes. As one colleague pointed out, "Why did they even bother with a new video?"
FYI, we aren't the only ones to think so.
Seeing the stunning and exotically executed #gerua bought back so many memories!! @TheFarahKhan @iamsrk pic.twitter.com/fU8sCzGNig
