Viral: This 8-year-old grew hair for 2 years to donate it to cancer patients
This glorious instance of parenting done right should be framed in every household. Because if you're teaching your kid about a fatal disease that can strike anyone at any age and telling them to empathise, you deserve a goddamn medal. If you're teaching your toddler to go a step further and do something concrete to help? Then you've won this parenting thing already.
When Amber Lynne posted photos of her nephew who'd just gotten his first haircut in two years, she probably didn't think he'd become a viral sensation. But 8-year-old Thomas Moore, with his big heart and gorgeous eyes, has become a darling of social media with this awe-inspiring act of kindness.

Thomas had seen the video of a girl with cancer who had lost all her hair to chemotherapy. Struck by the image, he decided to make the call of making an effort to help such kids.
Amber's tweet now has over 57k RTs and counting. Twitter may like the ridiculous, but it is the kindhearted they truly love.
